Piet Hein
Piet Hein collaborated with Georg Jensen, creating silver pieces that embody the superellipse and superegg forms. His work with Georg Jensen represents a rare and distinguished intersection of mathematical genius and Scandinavian silversmithing tradition. Among his many honours, he received the Danish Industrial Design Prize (1971), the Alexander Graham Bell Silver Bell (1968), an honorary doctorate from Yale University (1972), and served as a Nobel Lecturer in 1983.
