Georg Jensen
Georg Jensen is one of the most celebrated and enduring names in the history of silversmithing, founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1904 by the craftsman and artist Georg Jensen (31 August 1866 – 2 October 1935). Born in Raadvad, just north of Copenhagen, Jensen trained as both a goldsmith and a sculptor before opening his small silversmith workshop at 36 Bredgade in the spring of 1904 at the age of 37.
