David Andersen
David Andersen is one of Norway's most celebrated and enduring jewelry and silversmith houses, founded in 1876 in Christiania (now Oslo) by goldsmith and silversmith David Andersen (1843–1901), who was born in Bergen, Norway. Having trained as an apprentice and journeyman goldsmith, Andersen established his own workshop with a keen sense for high craftsmanship and an eye for natural motifs — leaves, insects, and organic forms — that would define the company's early aesthetic.
